"20 MEN"

 When 20 men, for the first time, reveal themselves in-front of the camera, a shared intimacy occurs, whether fleeting or lasting, between subject, photographer and ultimately viewer. This 5 year project, photographed in Paris, culminated in the body of work "20 MEN"

Contemporary photographer Justin Julius Santos created the "20 Men" series in short sessions with "models" that he met on the streets of Paris (waiters, taxi drivers, firemen, business men, grocers, club goers, college students, etc). Photographed within the confines of private residences, the artist forgets the outside world, focus-ing solely on the inner life of his subjects. Within the several hour session, Santos produced images of enormous intensity, sexual tension and playful youthful posing.
